The Chicagoland Roofing Council is the identity for the Advancement and Research Fund from the union affiliated CRCA Contractor Firms and the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local No. 11.  The Chicagoland Roofing Council Leads the industry in Garden Roofs, Reflective Roofs, Ballasted, Photovoltaic, and anything else that happens on the Roof. 

The Council's main function is to promote the professionalism, culture of efficiency, safety, and productivity, expertise, and reliability ... all while working at one or one hundred stories above grade, on a Roof.  The Chicagoland Roofing Council Member Contractors and Local 11 Employing Firms do this every day, through research and education of themseleves and their workers, plus the specification, building owner and manager, consultant and others...all to advance the industry.

The Chicagoland Roofing Council is a partnership of Professional Union Roofing Contractor Firms in the Chicagoland area and the well trained United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local 11 personnel to provide weatherproof protection on commercial, industrial, institutional and residential buildings throughout the Chicago Area and beyond.

The Partnership consists of an involved group of people, committed to long term, on budget, and on time performance through management process expertise working with an educated, trained and efficient workforce. The result of this investment in people, equipment and the roofing installation process is efficiency, long term leak free performance and high quality of installed roofing, waterproofing and air barrier systems.

The Chicagoland Roofing Council partnership installs almost 80% of commercial, industrial and institutional roofing in Chicagoland. Council member firms and their workforce average over 20 years in the business meaning long term experience on the job.
